Welcome. I’m here to help and support you in your journey to feeling better.
Life can be difficult at times and counseling can give you the tools to meet life’s challenges.
I offer a safe space to explore life transitions, feelings of depression or anxiety, low self-esteem, grief/loss issues, unmet needs, relationship struggles, midlife issues, caregiver stress and other life challenges. I can help you develop the skills and strategies to gain insight and awareness, cope with life stressors, increase feelings of self-worth, and enhance meaning in your life.
I use a variety of approaches to therapy depending upon each client’s unique personality and individual needs. At times, I may assign homework between sessions such as nature activities, art projects, journal writing, or other methods of self-reflection and expression.
We all need help at various times in our lives. Asking for help can be uncomfortable and intimidating. I applaud you for having the courage to take the first step. If you decide to work with me, I will be there supporting you on your journey of self-discovery.
