Lindsay received undergraduate degrees in Behavioral Science and Spanish at Widener University and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from New York University and has spent the past 20 years working with children with special needs and their families in the Bronx. This career led her to pursue a second Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University. In addition to her training as a teacher, Lindsay has extensive training in holistic practices including yoga, meditation, and breathwork.
As a mental health counselor, I believe in using an integrative approach including CBT, mindfulness, and relational-cultural therapy to support my clients on their journey to find themselves so that they are better able to navigate relationships and daily life. My clients and I work together to set attainable goals and establish a safe and trusting relationship. I look forward to working together.
