Getting to know Lisette Snyder

I work with clients experiencing relationship and marital issues, relational trauma, and divorce. Our initial sessions comprise of delving into the issues you hope to address and coming up with a plan to address them together. I'm open-minded, direct, and understanding. My personal and professional experiences help me understand and relate to clients in a way many therapists cannot.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am extremely understanding and open-minded which is helpful to clients exploring different avenues to figure out their life circumstances. I will challenge you where you need and give you homework assignments to give you things to work on throughout the week.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a very client-focused approach learning about what is important to you and your values. We will explore every avenue of how to help you heal and challenge you to be a better version of yourself. You will feel understood and empowered. Not every session will leave you feeling great, but it will leave you feeling challenged and with things you can work on to be better and to heal. I believe the success of therapy depends greatly on the work we do in therapy and even more so on the work you do outside of therapy.
