Hi there, I'm Maria!
My name is Maria Madrid, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Counseling from Argosy University. My goal is to get to know you and explore ways we can work together to help you achieve a better quality of life.
My approach
I focus on anxiety challenges and use strategies such as CBT, solution-focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR.

I work with adults aged 18 and older who experience anxiety and self-esteem challenges.
My communication style
Our sessions will take place in a non-judgmental, calm, and compassionate environment. When appropriate, humor often sneaks into our conversations.
My journey to mental healthcare
I've been working in mental and behavioral health facilities for over 18 years and have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 6 years. I am drawn to helping people identify their own answers to the questions they face. It is an honor to be part of their journeys toward self-empowerment and fulfilling lives.
