Getting to know Jerome Scott
Hi there, I'm Jerome!
I have been extremely successful in providing couples and individual psychotherapy, ensuring that each client receives the highest level of therapeutic care. In addition, I have always maintained a specialized clinical practice that requires an advanced Cognitive Behavioral therapeutic approach designed to motivate individuals and couples to achieve their treatment plan objectives. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the past nineteen years, I have been dedicated to nurturing my clients' aspirations.
My approach
Typically, my clinical approach focuses on enhancing my clients' strengths to build a solid therapeutic process that helps achieve their specific goals. I seek to facilitate a therapeutic process that recognizes each individual is capable of achieving their mental and emotional health.

I strongly feel that each individual is capable of a higher purpose that allows them to live their authentic self.
My communication style
It has always been my therapeutic goal to allow each individual to genuinely listen to others without being critical of their individual challenges.
My journey to therapy
This adventure called life has so many twists and turns. It was clear that I would join the healing arts after being hired as a peer counselor. After working for the United Postal Service for twenty-one years, I decided to pursue becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Mount Saint Mary College and my Bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach.
My goals for you
It has always been my goal to help each client achieve their highest potential. I believe that if there are barriers or obstacles to overcome, it is definitely within that individual's ability to resolve them.
