My therapeutic approach is based on a collaborative, integrative framework aimed at helping clients enhance self-awareness and develop effective coping skills. I frequently employ interventions informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emphasizing self-talk and integrating self-compassion and mindfulness techniques. I strive to create a nonjudgmental atmosphere where clients feel safe to explore their concerns. 18+, legally competent adults
I ‘mesh’ best with 18-35ish, but have experience with all adults----Topics/issues/populations that I DO work with: Individuals; Anxiety, depression, life transitions/adjustments, relationships (romantic, family, etc.), communication, boundaries, self-talk, self-awareness, coping skills, childhood/complex trauma, ADHD (I do not diagnose ADHD but provide support for those with an already established diagnosis), body image concerns (if not in active eating disorder), OK with grief, OK with post-partum challenges (unless client specifically wants a therapist who has children), OK with bipolar as long as client is actively seeing a psychiatrist for medication management & can provide a Release of Info for me
