My name is Melanie Verschoore, and I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern dedicated to supporting clients on their journey to healing and self-discovery. I obtained my Bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. I have experience working with children and teenagers who are neurodivergent and/or struggle with anxiety and depression, as well as a background in trauma-informed therapy. An additional area of expertise includes supporting clients through life transitions, helping them navigate change with confidence and resilience. Taking a holistic approach to counseling is one of my core values, as I believe in treating the whole individual—mind, body, and spirit—to foster lasting growth and well-being. I tailor evidence-based approaches to meet the unique needs of each client and value a collaborative process in the therapeutic space.
