Hello! I am so glad you are here! My name is Melanie Williams. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. I have been in the mental health field for over 23 years. I work with individuals ages 5 and up. My areas of expertise are: Anxiety, OCD, Depression, Autism/ADHD- Emotion Regulation, and Women's Issues- perinatal, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. I have developed an approach that integrates different perspectives and theories. While working with individuals and families, I focus mainly on strengths and solutions using a cognitive behavioral perspective. I also concentrate on adding a holistic approach to healing. I am certified in Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (TF-CBT). I am also a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP) and a Certified Heart Math practitioner. My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and working on a plan together. I enjoy getting to know each individual and learning about the different paths they have taken through life. I work with individuals ages 6 and up. I want to make everyone feel comfortable and therapy should be a conversation, building trust and rapport. I love helping others! My own life experiences and desire to help others led to this profession over 26 years ago! The 1st session is a general "get to know you" session. My goals for you
