Hi there, I'm Myeaka!
I am Myeaka Rousseau, a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Louisiana and Georgia. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University.
My approach
I utilize a holistic theoretical approach and am certified in DBT and trauma treatment.
My focus
I work with clients ages 13-65, addressing behavioral issues, mood and anxiety disorders, relationship and workplace challenges, trauma and stress-related concerns, depression and grief, self-harm and suicidal thoughts, as well as substance use disorder.
My communication style
Our therapy sessions will provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your personal experiences.
My goals for you
Treatment goals are tailored to your needs and typically established by the third session.
My first session with you
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. After reviewing a few documents, you'll have a chance to learn more about me and decide what and how much you'd like to share.
