I’m a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida, and I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, identity exploration, and life transitions. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and person-centered. I draw from psychodynamic theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based tools to support insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. I’m especially passionate about working with ADHD, including executive functioning, motivation, and emotional regulation, as well as OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I also focus on attachment-based work, helping you understand how early experiences may be shaping your current patterns and relationships. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and develop tools that actually work for your life. I offer therapy in English and Spanish, both in person and virtually.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a collaborative and supportive process. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and not judged. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting — therapy is a place to explore and make sense of what you’re experiencing. My style is warm, curious, and engaged. I balance deeper exploration with practical tools, so you can understand the “why” behind your patterns while also building skills to manage emotions and navigate daily challenges more effectively. I’m especially mindful of pacing. We’ll move at a speed that feels right for you, whether that means taking time to build safety or working more actively toward specific goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We’ll start with an initial session where I learn more about what’s bringing you in, your current challenges, and what you’d like to get out of therapy. From there, we’ll create a direction that feels aligned with your goals. In our ongoing work, we’ll explore patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be contributing to what you’re going through, while also building practical tools for emotional regulation, coping, and decision-making. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, or ERP for OCD. Sessions are a mix of reflection and skill-building, so you leave with both insight and strategies you can use in your daily life. We’ll also check in regularly to make sure the work feels helpful and continues to support your growth.
