Nora is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology (Counseling) program from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Nora’s experience includes working for Thresholds as a community support specialist as well as at Association House of Chicago leading group and individual therapy. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago. She has experience working with adults with severe mental illness in the community as well as teaching in various CPS schools working with children grades K-8. She has been utilizing skills from treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Nora has 3 years of experience working with severe mental illness including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression disorder, psychosis & experience with motivational interviewing. Previously, Nora was a substitute teacher at CPS working with grades K-8 including students experiencing learning disabilities/special education population.
