Getting to know Hope Hirsch

I recognize that seeking help can be difficult; that is why I strive to create a safe environment for my clients. It is a brave decision to ask for help. My name is Hope, and I am a licensed professional counselor who has worked in both substance use residential settings as well as community mental health. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Iowa and with my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University. As a licensed therapist, my goal is to work with clients who have made the decision to help themselves on this therapeutic journey. While working with clients, I use person-centered therapy, CBT, and DBT interventions to tackle such problems as anxiety, depression, substance use, and bipolar disorder. I believe that everyone's therapeutic journey is special; that is why I strive to be there to support my clients on this journey. I consider it an honor to work with my clients on healing and growth throughout the therapeutic process. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my cats and watching college football.
