Nourit Korzennik is a compassionate and empathetic psychologist and psychotherapist assisting her patients in Torrance, CA. Dr. Korzennik is a member of the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association, and the Los Angeles County Psychological Association. She is trilingual, speaking English, French, and Polish fluently. Dr. Korzennik has been providing care and assistance to her patients since 1983, and it is her passion to instill within her patients the tools that her patients need to fulfill themselves.
Dr. Korzennik attended the California School of Professional Psychology to receive her Master’s degree and PhD in clinical psychology. She then completed her postdoctoral Master’s degree in psychopharmacology at the Alliant International University. Dr. Korzennik has been with her private practice in Torrance since 1999, and she provides services such as individual and group therapy, family and couple therapy with children, as well as pediatric and adolescent therapy. She treats patients experiencing personality disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, issues of separation and individuation, sexual addiction or compulsion or dysfunction, as well as sexually abused patients. She offers services to sex offenders. Dr. Korzennik also treats those that experience adjustment issues, learning problems, parenting issues, life transition and career issues, executive stress, eating problems, and substance abuse.
When she is not aiding patients, Dr. Korzennik enjoys “good wine, good food, and good company,” as well as reading, art, and painting.

She's wonderful. I opened up to her immediately and she really understood what was going on with me. She's helped me improve my personal relationships, outlook on life, and sense of self. She is so easy to talk to, honest, and funny. I don't mind driving all the way from LA to see her, because she makes you feel so relaxed and it's clear she really cares about you.

I really enjoyed my time with Dr. Korzennik I felt so welcomed and relaxed as soon I sat on the couch it was like the flood gates just opened up I didn't want to stop I wish I could have stayed longer so I just made an appointment for the following week at the same time. I felt as if I was talking to an old friend. We even laughed together. Definitely a good experience.
