If you're going for any mental health concerns, I would go to someone whose focus is on mental health. This health practitioner wanted to perform more "testing" but wouldn't elaborate on why the evaluation I received by an actual psychiatrist was not acceptable. His testing, by his words, were subjective and only for the clinic, so I would be paying for something that I can't even use for the future. He said the "tests" would be more personal questions but I'm not sure how that would determine whether or not I have ADHD, especially since my psychiatric report goes through it, at-length, for over 20 pages. He isn't a psychiatrist so I don't know why he thinks he can diagnose me.
Also not sure why he thinks he can gatekeep this way, considering I met him twice and now he thinks he knows enough to decide if I deserve to be medicated.
