I hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Walla Walla University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and client-centered care. My expertise spans treating psychosis, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and complex PTSD, with a focus on trauma work and early psychosis intervention.
As the lead therapist in an early psychosis program, I have worked closely with individuals and their families to address the unique needs of those experiencing psychosis onset. This experience has deepened my understanding of how to provide collaborative, person-centered care that supports recovery, fosters resilience, and promotes hope during a critical time.
I am deeply committed to serving the LGBTQ+ community, providing trauma-focused therapy tailored to their unique experiences. My approach is rooted in cultural humility and inclusivity, creating a safe, affirming space where clients can explore identities, heal from trauma, and rebuild trust.
In my practice, I use evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused approaches, and solution-focused interventions, tailoring treatment plans to meet clients’ unique needs. I specialize in crisis intervention, safety planning, and intensive outpatient care for higher-acuity populations, drawing on experience in high-pressure environments like emergency departments to provide timely and effective support.
My goal is to empower individuals and families to process experiences, build resilience, and thrive. Whether addressing trauma, navigating early psychosis, or supporting clients through acute crisis, I strive to create a collaborative therapeutic environment where healing and growth are possible.
