Dr. Raymond Bepko, of Thriving Center of Psychology, holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Connecticut, as well as a Ph.D. in Psychology from Yeshiva University in New York City. He has practiced psychology in New York State since 1978. Dr. Bepko worked as a staff psychologist at Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center and McPike Addiction Treatment Center, served as Director of Psychology at Faxton Hospital, and was an adjunct professor of psychology at SUNY Institute of Technology and Utica College. He has also been a consulting psychologist to the Center for Family Life and Recovery, the ARC of Oneida and Lewis Counties, and the Regional Rehabilitation Center at Faxton – St. Luke’s Healthcare. Dr. Bepko founded and directed the Behavioral Healthcare Pain Management Program at Faxton – St. Luke’s for six years and was a member of the Bioethics Committee at Faxton-St. Luke’s Hospital. He has served in various roles on the Board of Directors of the Resource Center for Independent Living and currently chairs the RCIL Living Independently is For Everyone Board.
