She later went on to receive her Masters in Social Work degree from Rutgers University. Rebecca is trained and certified in cognitive-based therapies, including CBT and TF-CBT. It is an important aspect of treatment to identify which approaches and interventions work best for each client’s unique needs.
Additionally, one of Rebecca’s biggest priorities is to create the space for each client to build a trusting, non-judgmental and therapeutic relationship. In therapy, each client is able to set short and long-term goals while learning coping skills and ways to restructure negative thoughts. Over the years, Rebecca has worked with diverse clients seeking relief from a wide range of symptoms, including anxiety, depression, childhood/adult trauma, relationship issues, personality disorders, life transitions, stress, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, and navigating loss and grief.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her 2 Siberian Husky (they require lots of attention!). She loves to travel, read books, and spend time with her family."
