Getting to know Rebecca Moutray

Hello, I'm Rebecca. Do you have a child who struggles with anxiety, depression, or peer relationships? Maybe they feel overwhelmed, closed off, or just don't know where they fit in their world. I help children and adolescents navigate this time in their lives, which can be confusing and difficult. I specialize exclusively in child and adolescent therapy. I hold a MEd in Counselor Education and Guidance Services from Angelo State University. During a session with me, not only will we talk, but your child will also learn mindfulness techniques and coping strategies to help them become more resilient and whole.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During the first session with me, your child and I will get to know one another. Therapy only works if there is a trusted relationship between me and your child. My goal is for them to leave feeling heard and safe. They should also be able to identify the reason we are meeting. The following sessions will follow a custom treatment plan for your child. Depending on the age and personality traits of your child, different techniques will be used during therapy.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
