Rose is a Latinx-queer identified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who is trauma informed, and social justice oriented. Rose has made it her mission to provide a safe, warm, and compassionate environment where she collaboratively works on nourishing clients intersecting identities. She uses an integrative, strengths-based, and collaborative approach that fosters each client’s needs. She encompasses techniques from various therapeutic models in order to restore and strengthen mental health wellness within an intersectional framework. Rose received her BA in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, and her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She completed her graduate internship at Mindful Moments Mental Health Counseling where she had the privilege of counseling individuals from various racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and LGBTQIA+ identified clients. Her background includes research and training revolving around Internal Family Systems as a treatment for working with survivors of trauma.
