About Sejal Mair
Belle Vie Healthcare was founded by Sejal Mair in 2022. It started as a homecare company and in 2023 it expanded to Belle Vie Rehab, an out-patient physical therapy and vestibular rehabilitation clinic in Livingston, NJ.
Sejal Mair received her master’s degree in physical therapy in 2004 and is a Board Certified Physical Therapist. 21 years of past experiences and affiliations include treatment for a plethora of musculoskeletal conditions, sports medicine injuries, acute post-surgical rehabilitation, and orthopedic rehabilitation for patients of all age groups throughout NY and NJ.
Sejal has continued her passion to serve her patients and advance her practice by earning the professional designation of Orthopedics Clinical Specialist, a distinguished honor that is held by less than 6% of all physical therapists in the United States!
The OCS Board Certification is granted by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS) and was established to provide formal recognition for physical therapists with advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills. Orthopedic Clinical Specialists are experts in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
In 2018, Sejal obtained the Vestibular Rehabilitation certification from The American Institute of Balance. She has experience in applying effective paradigms and treatment protocols for the diagnosis and treatment of various vestibular disorders like BPPV, Vestibular Migraines, Meniere’s disease, Vestibular Neuritis, cervicogenic dizziness, Disequilibrium and has successfully treated patients with these conditions. At Belle Vie Rehab, we use Infrared goggles for testing and treatment of vestibular impairments. Only a handful of physical therapists in NJ use this cutting-edge technology which enables accurate diagnosis and enhanced patient care.

Dr.Mair is remarkable. I came to her office experiencing terrible back spasms to the point where standing and sitting were equally painful. When our session ended, the pain was nearly completely dissipated and I drove home without any discomfort. By the end of our second session, I was back to 100%, and she is now giving me exercises and tips to avoid going through again. Dr. Mair listens, is very patient, and an expert in what she does.

This doctor is very knowledgeable, professional and very caring. I felt drawn to her office just by the connection and concern communication. I will go back even though she is not in my network. I will try one more place in network and if I don’t get that experience I had from her office I will pay the out of network fee just because she is just amazing. Sejal is AMAZING.
The quality of care I receive is a world apart from my previous physical therapy experience. Every time I have seen Sejal, I’ve received her undivided attention. She doesn’t just follow a predetermined plan—she pivots based on your individual needs and what she sees during the appointment.
I also appreciated that she was real with me about how many appointments I actually need, rather than pushing for me to come in multiple times a week or extend my treatment longer than I need. And due to her skilled treatment, I am already feeling much better after three appointments.
Sejal is an out of network provider, which I was initially not sure I wanted to use, due to a higher out of pocket cost. But after seeing Sejal, I strongly encourage you to check if your insurance provides out of network benefits (mine covers half), and if not, consider paying out of pocket if you’re able. It may cost more, but in this case, you really do get what you pay for.

Dr Mair seems very concerned about her patient's wellbeing. She takes the time to watch me do the exercises she's recommending as part of my treatment and adjusts her recommendations based on how I'm doing and whether I feel pain or not. I am glad I am seeing her for my ankle pain because I feel her prescribed treatments will go a long way towards my full recovery.

Sejal asked me questions and listened carefully to understand the problem. She administered electrical stimulation (stim) and Graston technique to provide relief. Sejal also showed me a variety of exercises to do at home to improve my posture and body balance to prevent recurrence of this type of injury to the forearm. Overall, a pleasure to consult and interact with. Thanks!

Sej is fantastic I would highly recommend her. Came in with sever lower back pain that persisted for 4 months and over the course of the last month or so it has (slowly) but surely improved. Sej is dedicated and spends a lot of time listening to understand the issue and also any changes.
