About Dr. Shweta Shah

Dr. Shweta Shah graduated from the New York Institute of Technology – Long Island Campus with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011. She also earned her bachelor's degree from the same campus. Dr. Shah has 12 years of experience in physical therapy, primarily focusing on outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. She has worked with a diverse range of patient populations and conditions, including athletes, geriatric and pediatric patients, post-operative cases, sport-related injuries, chronic and acute trauma, as well as balance deficits. Dr. Shah believes in a patient-oriented treatment approach tailored to individual needs. She utilizes various manual techniques such as soft-tissue massage, myofascial release, and active release, combined with therapeutic exercises and movement training to help patients regain function and mobility.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Shah since 2021 and it’s the only therapist I trust. Her location is very convenient, spacious and close to everything. Dr shah has helped me with back pain significantly and I am now pain free. I’ve been able to enjoy my hobbies again! I highly highly recommend her!

This is a great office in a very convenient location. I was seen right away and my therapist Shweta Shah was excellent! She is very knowledgeable and confident in her skills. She also gave me some great exercises/stretches that I can do at home. I highly recommend this PT office and plan to go back for additional treatments.
