Through my easygoing and collaborative style I strive to provide an open, comfortable environment where I can help you identify problem areas, find manageable coping strategies, resolve issues from the past that impact present functioning, and pinpoint effective, sustainable solutions to deal with life's daily challenges. I have a strong background in helping clients successfully work through family of origin issues, relationship issues, life-stage transitions, depression, anxiety, and career struggles to name a few. My therapeutic style integrates psychodynamic, cognitive, mindfulness oriented techniques and EMDR. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I had a career in the film and television world (behind the camera) and thus have a passion for working with people in creative careers.
