Hello there, I'm Stefanie Araya. I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio, South Carolina, and Utah, and a CSAT Candidate. With a decade of experience in the field of mental and behavioral health, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their unique journeys toward healing and growth.
I hold a Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Utah and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Washington-Tacoma. Over the years, I have gained specialized training in the assessment and treatment of sexual addictions, including pornography and internet addiction. My experience also extends to providing therapy for individuals pending criminal charges and those newly released to parole or probation. Additionally, I am well-versed in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, anger management, and addiction.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, and I draw upon various evidence-based treatment modalities to tailor each session to your specific needs. I firmly believe that most people are doing the best they can with the tools they have. Often, when people seek therapy, it's because their current tools are no longer effective. Together, we can work to find healing, develop new tools to solve problems, and enhance your quality of life.
