OH
Hello, I'm Deborah. I have had the privilege of working in various settings, including outpatient facilities, hospitals, disaster response teams, home-based programs, and even overseas with military members and their families. My approach to therapy is deeply client-centered, utilizing tools such as motivational interviewing, systems theory, developmental theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused CBT to support your unique journey towards healing and growth. I hold a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Akron and a master’s degree in community counseling from Malone University. Additionally, I earned a master’s degree in philosophy and am currently working on my doctorate at Walden University, where I recently completed my dissertation research on post-traumatic growth in military members. I specialize in working with youth, families, individuals, and groups dealing with a wide range of mental health and addiction disorders. Whether you're facing challenges related to addiction, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, or any other concern, my goal is to help you move forward in a meaningful and healthy way. I enjoy working with clients of all ages across the lifespan, and I am committed to providing a supportive and understanding environment where you can feel safe to explore and address your concerns. If you're ready to take the next step towards a healthier and more fulfilling life, I would be honored to work with you. Let's embark on this journey together.
