I can't say enough good things about Dr. Watford! I'd seen many other therapists, but it just didn't click. Dr. Watford knows her stuff, but won't just tell me what I want to hear. She tells me what I NEED to hear. I'm not all healed yet, but getting there.
I've been to therapy before- but I never felt anything really changed. It was SO different this time. From the very first session, I felt completely at ease. She is incredibly warm, empathetic, and genuinely present, creating a safe space where I could finally be honest with myself without fear of judgment. She doesn't just mod her head and listen; I was able to see things in a way I never had before. She had REAL tools that have helped me understand my patterns and make real progress. I've learned so much about myself and my relationships. I get so much more done and feel more confident. My anxiety has become manageable, and my relationships are healthier. I've told multiple people to see her because she is not only skilled and professional but also deeply compassionate and effective. I can not recommend her enough. Especially if you appreciate someone down to earth with a good sense of humor.

Really solid. They helped me confront some past trauma and become a better dad and husband. That EMDR stuff seems gimmicky but really works.
Although she is easy to talk to, she would turn the camera off mid therapy session and seemed to be doing other things while on the call. She also assumed I had a lot of family trauma and would relate everything back to that, even though majority of my childhood did not have a lot of trauma, and I continued to tell her that. She did help greatly with my anxiety, and I am 100% appreciative of that. However, she almost made me feel guilty for not having childhood trauma and almost made me feel guilty because I didn’t understand those who do have it and continued to go back to that. She is very down to earth though and easy to talk to. Just not the therapist for me.

She fell asleep on me in mid conversation and turned her camera off multiple times. Her eyes were closed for a majority of the session and she video chatted me off of her phone and was very distracted through out the entire session... it seemed like my trauma I was telling her was an inconvenience to her time. I haven't done therapy in over 10 years and this was such a bad experience I'm not sure I want to do it again...

Never has she ever made me feel judged. Her style helps me feel seen and supported. I like that she is compassionate when she holds you accountable, and she uses humor.
Mikah is so wonderful. She is professional, understanding and so approachable. I have made so much progress with her and would recommend her to anyone who want a compassionate and kind therapist.
Mikah has helped me completely shift my perspective on life. I truly was losing hope until I began therapy with her. She has had a really head on approach to treatment and always shows up eager and ready to support me through all of my obstacles and triumphs. Therapy with her has easily become my favorite day of the week. She is personable, honest, and genuinely cares about helping find solutions for her patients. Mikah has given me the tools to not only now function in day to day life, but actually enjoy it and see value in it.
For the longest I thought about going to therapy, but I was reluctant because of past experiences. However, I’m glad I gave Tamikah a chance to help me, she is the right therapist for me. She listens and has uncovered things about me I had no clue about. I know I still have a long way to go but i’m looking forward to the end result.
Dr. Watford is very caring and open with me. She is very good at getting me to think outside of the spiral I find myself in. She is open, humble and really wants to see her clients succeed.
