Psychotherapist

Have you been struggling with depression, anxiety, burnout, or compassion fatigue? I love working with first responders because I understand how difficult it can be to feel truly understood and supported in this line of work. Many first responders have a strong desire to protect their families and often avoid sharing these experiences with them. Whether you’re working through trauma, cumulative stress, shift work disruption, or the stigma associated with asking for help, I’ll collaborate with you to create a plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. This hands-on approach provides you with tools to feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors. Based on your unique needs, I may also incorporate mindfulness practices and discuss medication options. Your goals and progress are my primary focus, and I strive to create a positive and supportive environment for therapy. My journey to mental healthcare began early. From a young age, I was fascinated by the power of human connection and the resilience of the human spirit. During my teenage years, a close family member struggled with severe anxiety, and witnessing their battle—and the significant improvement they experienced through effective therapy—ignited my passion to help others navigate their own challenges. I hold a Master’s in Psychology from Walden University and a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your path to healing and growth.
