Are you dealing with relationship or work issues, past trauma, divorce, grief, or loss? Are you feeling stuck, frustrated, or not living your optimal life? I am an "in the trenches" therapist—highly empathetic, present, listening, and responsive. I believe we naturally seek to grow and heal, and a therapist is a collaborator in that process.
I specialize in supporting people who suffer losses—relationships, infertility, grief, work problems, family conflict, and divorce. These challenges often lead to anxiety and depression. I am trained and certified in EMDR, a highly successful treatment for traumas both big and small, as well as anxiety and depression. Clients frequently find it helpful in resolving early childhood trauma such as neglect, physical and sexual abuse, as well as current issues like workplace bullying, medical trauma, and relationship problems.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate, effective care.
My office is in Cobble Hill and is convenient for the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, F, and R trains.
