Getting to know Dalia Teen

I am a clinical social worker with 20 years of experience and a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University. I welcome anyone to therapy regardless of age, gender, or sexual preference. I work with people in all stages of life, usually navigating a change or challenge of some sort that can be stressful.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I want therapy to be a safe space for you that feels like a conversation with a trusted person. I practice CBT with humor, directness and empathy to help you get where you want to be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After a session most clients feel much better. They realize that therapy will be a chance to talk in a relaxed environment without any pressure. Therapy is not easy, but I do believe that it is worth it in the end.
