Therese works with children, adolescents, adults, and parents and is adept with anxiety, parenting challenges, and other emotional and behavioral issues. She has experience working in several independent and public schools as a school counselor and understands the balance between honoring different values and cultures while helping clients find their own path.
Therese holds a Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Counseling from Oakland University. She offers an integrative approach to find the effective path for each individual. She has trained in mindfulness, including a week-long retreat with Jon Kabat-Zinn, and combines a psychodynamic approach with CBT.
