Working with Tom has changed my life. After a second bout of crippling anxiety and depression, I knew I needed a change in therapist. I did some research and asked around and thankfully found my way to his office. It has been a lot of hard work but Tom has a manner that makes you feel safe & secure. He is kind, compassionate, accessible, attentive - you never wonder if he is listening, and knows what you need to hear and when you need to hear it. I am slowly building a life I never dreamed I could have

Dr. Stewart's experience and eclectic approach allows him to work in ways to best suit his patient's needs. Because everyone is unique, he works collaboratively with his patients to help them get the most out of treatment and life. He offers both short-term (goal oriented) psychotherapy and in-depth psychoanalysis to individuals, couples, and families. Over the past decade, he has worked in numerous settings as a psychotherapist with both adults and children.
Dr Stewart is an LCSW in NY and NJ. He obtained his master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University. He obtained his Ph.D from Yeshiva University, in addition to teaching in their master's program. He is also a graduate of The Institute for Modern Psychoanalysis.
