She loves that as an acupuncturist, she can help patients improve emotionally and physically. Hyong loves doing acupuncture because it helps people feel better. When they come in, they’re often in pain and don’t know what to do about it. Acupuncture helps with many different kinds of pain, from chronic to acute, from back to shoulder—and everything in between. And it works! You might think that acupuncture is just a bunch of needles (and it most certainly is), but you’d be wrong if you thought that was all there was to it. Acupuncture is so much more than that. It’s not just about sticking needles into people and hoping for the best. It’s about getting patients on a path towards healing. Healing means encouraging the body to rejuvenate itself and work towards wellness. In her free time, Hyong enjoys listening to classical music, hiking, and running.
