“Asa new patient I was disappointed in the wait time. There were many people in the waiting room and I was concerned that they were all ahead of me so I asked and some were there for therapy and not adjustments. Phew! I arrived 10 minutes early and after 25 minutes past my appointment time I asked how much longer. And was told about 40 more minutes. That is when I was told that Dr Stewart was out after neck surgery, so I had his assistant. Okay fine, I left and returned 40 minutes later. Dr Romo was fine. Listened, and hopefully will fix me up. I will go back for a follow up.”

About Dr. Ryan A. Stewart
The Dallas Wellness Center was founded in 1994 by Dr. Doug Kirkpatrick. In 2022, Dr. Ryan A. Stewart took over the practice after 12 years as the associate doctor following Dr. Kirkpatrick's retirement. Dr. Stewart, a chiropractor at the Dallas Wellness Center, has been freeing people from pain in the Uptown Dallas area for the past 15 years. He has a passion for helping others and is committed to promoting optimal health and well-being in each of his patients.
Dr. Stewart uses a ?whole person approach? to wellness, which distinguishes him from other chiropractors. This approach looks at any underlying causes and works with patients to define and implement a personal wellness plan. Using this unique method, Dr. Stewart helps you accelerate and maintain your journey to good health and living the life you love.
Part of Dr. Stewart's empathy and advice toward patients comes from his personal experience with lumbar (low back) and cervical (neck) disc herniations, which he has dealt with for over 12 years. He considers it a blessing in disguise to personally relate to what his patients experience with disc-related issues and pain, offering wisdom from the lessons he has learned.
Dr. Stewart enjoys being physically active and embraces all aspects of fitness and wellness. He is an avid runner, having completed two Dallas White Rock Lake marathons, and LOVES hitting the slopes in Colorado as an avid skier. Beyond his personal fitness goals, Dr. Stewart has helped others achieve theirs as a trainer for weight loss patients and by coaching fitness classes in Dallas while an associate at the DWC. He motivates others to get active and achieve or maintain wellness and overall health, whether they have minor spinal aches or are dealing with disc disorders like himself.
Dr. Stewart earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University and holds a bachelor's degree from Howard Payne University.
