He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) (cum laude) from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dentistry, a Master of Science degree in Oral Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Gilman earned his specialty certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Northeast Society of Orthodontics. Dr. Gilman uses his engineering and computer science skills to create simply spectacular smiles for children, teenagers and adults. He has been trained in the most current digital imaging and esthetic procedures, including Invisalign and customized 3D printed traditional fixed braces. His love for technology allows him to design smiles with precision and passion. Dr. Gilman has been recognized by the Invisalign Corporation as one of the top 100 doctors in the country using Invisalign and he has been designated as a “top 1%” Elite and Diamond Plus provider by Invisalign every year since 2007. Dr. Gilman was certified by Invisalign in 2001 and now he is the largest provider of Invisalign and Invisalign Teen in the state of Connecticut. Dr. Gilman uses Invisalign not only for adults but for teens and children as early as age 7. With his experience in treating even the most complicated cases with Invisalign, Dr. Gilman has helped Dental Associates of Connecticut to become one of the largest providers of Invisalign in the United States. Dr. Gilman celebrates 21 years with Dental Associates. He has his heart in his practice and his practice in his heart. Dr. Gilman also enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
