About Dr. Adam Martinez

Dr. Martinez was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry at The University of Texas - Pan American. Dr. Martinez completed his DDS degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center - San Antonio Dental School with teaching honors. Dr. Martinez has made San Antonio his home and has been serving the community of San Antonio since 2017. Dr. Martinez is a member of multiple organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association, and Greater San Antonio - Hispanic Dental Association. Throughout dental school Dr. Martinez found a passion for teaching and mentorship for his fellow underclassmen. Because of his continued passion for mentorship and guidance, Dr. Martinez served as BOLD Outreach Chair for GSA-HDA from 2020-2022. In 2025, Dr. Martinez returned to The University of Texas Health San Antonio Dental school and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency to heighten his knowledge and clinical experience. In his spare time Dr. Martinez enjoys mountain biking, off-roading, camping, grilling, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
