About Dr. Adam Salm
I am a 3rd generation dentist dedicated to building on the family tradition of great patient care. I pride myself on listening to each patient and carefully discussing the proper treatment required to give them a satisfying experience while ensuring they are treated as family. Whether it is improving their smile, fixing a broken tooth, relieving pain, or just a regular check-up, every aspect of our office is designed for maximum satisfaction and a dental experience unlike any other. I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a residency in General Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, which has further equipped me to provide comprehensive care to my patients.

Visiting Dr. Salm's office was a surprisingly welcome experience. Over the past few years I was trying to find a regular dentist to visit in NYC, and now I have found one. Dr. Salm has all the newest technology - he quickly took digital x-rays, images of my gum and teeth, and inspected the previous work I had done. I feel extremely comfortable with his work and look forward to visiting more frequently for cleanings.

I had a very memorable experience at Dr. Salm's office, which included Netflix and very high resolution images of my teeth. Honestly, I had never seen my teeth so up close before, and it was a wake up call that I need to focus more on my oral health. His staff is incredibly friendly and very accommodating. I have been searching for a dentist and Dr. Salm and his staff did not disappoint. His assistant was extremely helpful in helping me reschedule my appointment and Dr. Salm and his hygienist were courteous, kind, and extremely prompt. Dr. Salm in particular was efficient but also very personable.

I liked Dr. Salm, but I ended up switching dentists because of small things adding up during the appointment. It was my first dentist visit in awhile, so I needed x-rays, but the way the dental assistant did it was more uncomfortable than any x-ray I've endured in the past. That might have soured my first impression of Dr. Salm, who delivered the bad news that I needed two fillings. Since dental assistants deliver a large portion of care during checkup appointments, I didn't want to commit to coming back to this office.

Dr. Salm is a young, caring and totally competent professional who listens to all your needs and answers all of your questions in a clear and concise way. His office is clean and comfortable and the patient is put at ease immediately. I would highly recommend him to both young and older patients. Thank you Dr. Salm.

This was a second appointment and was for a cleaning. The office and staff are pleasant as is Dr. Salm. However, it is his tendency to
make creative suggestions for unnecessary further work such as this tooth could be extracted at no loss to you. I was referred to him on the retirement of my dentist of some years and while I was somewhat surprised at the full mouth x-rays taken at the first appt. since my files had been transferred to him, I was taken aback at the cost of a cleaning! No matter how pleasant the environment I'm afraid I can't afford Dr. Salm.

The visit with Dr. Salm was fine. He was thorough and professional and very nice. Zoc Doc, however, totally blew it. They confirmed with us but never notified Dr. Salm's office about the appointments. Dr. Salm and his office staff were terrific about fitting us in anyway. Zoc Doc really dropped that ball. What a failure. It's what Zoc Doc is supposed to do right and they didn't!

Dr. Salm,
Is a really good dentist. He takes his time with you, very gentle when cleaning and scrapping your teeth, and very informative if there are additional services that needs to be done. If you need more then you regular cleaning, he will provide you with an emergency contact number should you have any concerns after business hours. I have referred co-workers to him and they like him as well.
