About Dr. Adenike Taiwo
Dr. Taiwo graduated from the University of Miami in South Florida in 2004. She then attended Nova Southeastern University, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2009. After graduation, she completed a year of residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY, honing her skills in oral surgery and restorative dentistry. In addition, Dr. Taiwo has worked with HOPE worldwide, an organization that provides free medical and dental services to impoverished communities around the world. An avid learner, Dr. Taiwo continues to educate herself through dental continuing education courses to provide the most up-to-date treatments for all her patients.
At Smile By Smile, Dr. Taiwo performs general dentistry procedures such as fillings, crowns (for adults and children), dental cleanings, whitening, and dentures, as well as laser dentistry, oral surgery, and orthodontic therapy. To make each experience comfortable, Dr. Taiwo can provide sedation as needed. She believes that quality dental care should not be an exception or dictated by individual situations but should be provided to every patient-hence the name, ?Smile By Smile.? Dr. Taiwo practices with the belief that each smile is unique and each treatment should be tailored to meet the individual needs of the patient.
Dr. Taiwo is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry and the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. She has been married for about three years and has one son.

My son and my experiences were incredible from the time I booked the appointment until the time we walked out. Finding a great dentist is just as difficult as finding a doctor who truly cares about you, and Dr Taiwo and her entire staff made me realize that I was blessed to have found them. You know immediately, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you are in good hands the moment you connect with them.

I waited for an hour then they gave me a BS excuse that they can not do my routine cleaning and I need to come back. My experience was this office was decent to mediocre. The reason why I chose this office and doctor was due to the high rating, however, I didn’t experience a “high rating” service. It was more along the lines of a 2.50-3 star rating.
What contributed to my rating is the wait time of being serviced- despite zocdoc alluding to little wait times. *I came in on a Friday afternoon*-, the dental staff being a little less careful and gentle-handed with my teeth/gums/mouth, and the introduction of different treatments and recommendations that didn’t make much sense based on my previous dental experience within the past couple of years.
Recommending a specific dental instrument- primarily the one they sold in the office- to utilize was a bit odd to me seeing as I’ve never had it recommended by dentists in the past *I was last seen by a couple of different dentists between 2023-2025*. I didn’t feel that my questions about the service were properly answered.

My appointment was great! I had my wisdom teeth removed with an oral surgeon a month prior to this, because they caused cavities on the teeth in front. I was fearful that I would need route canals because this was an unforeseen issue, because of wisdom teeth obstruction instead of cleaning. She was able to fix my cavities but also what I most liked is that she didn’t automatically want to remove my teeth because of the location of the cavity. I had other dentist take a look and they immediately said I would need root canals. I guess they were WRONG. So thankful and I will only be going to her! It was also painless and she is patient. I have pretty severe anxiety when I get numbed and she didn’t bat an eyelash.
