“I’m so happy I found Dr Kamal and his team!! Early today I had a horrible experience with another dental office that tried to belittle me, upcharge me and refuse to listen when I explained I am covered by insurance, I left in tears and turned to Zocdoc where I found 3D dental! The wait time was short, the staff was amazingly welcoming and they talked me through each step! My day started horrific and ended amazing thanks to them! I’m looking forward to my next appointment!”

About Dr. Ahmed Kamal
Dr. Ahmed Kamal has been practicing in our area since 2017. He graduated from Mustansiriya University School of Dentistry in 2005 and later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2016. He lived in Iraq, where he served his community for seven years at his dental practice before moving to the United States. He is passionate about providing our patients with the best possible care by continuing his dental education three times a year.
Dr. Kamal received dental training in Iraq, where he completed a three-year surgical residency focused on treating various impacted teeth, extractions, and implants. After moving to the States, he pursued advanced training in dental implants at the California Implant Institute and the Arizona Brighter Way Institute, where he trained in surgical and prosthetic implant treatments, including simple and complicated cases and full-mouth rehabilitation with All-on-4® implants. He has also trained in North Carolina and Texas in IV moderate sedation for patients who feel anxious during dental treatments. His training extended to New York, where he learned to treat patients with simple to moderate sleep apnea and attended two cosmetic dentistry courses focused on difficult smile makeover cases, achieving beautiful results.
Dr. Kamal is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Virginia Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
His goal as a dentist is to create an environment where patients feel treated like family and to help them become absolutely happy with the results of their treatment. Dr. Kamal aims to deliver a guarantee of satisfaction by offering unique care for the best results. He wants our patients to know that we will be responsible not only for the end result of the treatment but also for the long-term outcome.

I’m so happy I found Dr Kamal and his team!! I went to the provider’s office on the specific date and time that was confirmed by email and SMS text. However, the office is closed. Nobody answered the phone.

It has been a while since my last cleaning and both the doctor and hygienist were very understanding and accommodating. Dr. Kamal asked great questions and even offered to get started with ortho work when I have been asking dentists about ortho for YEARS. Overall great experience!

I’ve been dr Kamals patient for years and i can honestly say that my experience was always great! Dr Kamal was able to calm me down as i tend to get nervous on the chair. I definitely overcame my fear. Also the staff there is always attentive!
