The dentist seems competent and really nice; however, I had a very poor experience with the cleaning. The hygienist appeared inexperienced and spent a noticeable amount of time adjusting his chair and looking around the room, which made the process feel unfocused. The open layout also made it easy to see and hear everything happening around us, which was distracting.
The most concerning issue was that water continuously overflowed from my mouth during the cleaning, suggesting the equipment was not properly adjusted. It would have been better if this had been tested beforehand. I also felt uncomfortable speaking up during the procedure out of concern in case of accidental injury.
Overall, this was the worst cleaning experience I’ve had, despite decades of regularly visiting dentists in the East Coast.
