Dr. Alejandra Perez is a caring and skilled pediatric dentist that strives to deliver the best dental service for young patients using the most up-to-date techniques. She strives to understand the unique challenges of each patient and works towards meeting their individual needs.
Dr. Perez Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala. She then completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Alabama and Alabama Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. Dr. Perez finished a fellowship in pediatric dentistry at Colorado Children’s Hospital. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (FAPD), and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry (SSPD).
Dr. Perez enjoys giving back to her community, most recently volunteering her time with Shriner’s Hospitals. She also provides dental care for underserved children in her home country of Guatemala.
When she’s not creating healthy smiles, you can find Dr. Perez spending time with her family, traveling, scuba diving and baking.

I never went in to my appt because I wasn’t really scheduled on their end. Somehow zocdoc had openings and I was able to “schedule” an appt. When I called to confirm with the office I wasn’t really scheduled and they didn’t have any openings until next year. Days later i received the email that the appt was canceled. I really needed this appt, my kid had tooth pain and it was disappointing that I wouldn’t have known unless I had called to verify or until days later by email. The ratings are based on that, not on the actual service. Won’t be using zocdoc to schedule an appt again.
