About Dr. Alex Lee
Dr. Lee was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, before relocating to San Francisco, California, after high school to pursue his undergraduate education. He earned a Bachelor from the University of San Francisco
He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Utah. Following dental school, Dr. Lee practiced general dentistry in Los Angeles, California, where he developed a strong interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery and the management of complex surgical patients.
Committed to advanced surgical training, Dr. Lee completed a General Practice Residency at Harlem Hospital Center, an affiliate of Columbia University in New York City, followed by an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. He subsequently matched into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he completed a General Surgery year, 5 months of adult and pediatric anesthesia, comprehensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, benign and malignant pathology, anesthesia, complex facial reconstruction, facial cosmetic surgery, cleft & craniofacial surgery, conservative and open temporomandibular joint surgery.
As he returns to Los Angeles to begin private practice, Dr. Lee is dedicated to building an implant-focused oral and maxillofacial surgery practice centered on evidence-based care, surgical excellence, and compassionate patient treatment. He is especially passionate about improving access to high-quality surgical care for underserved Hispanic and Latino communities and strives to provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered care to the diverse populations of Southern California.
