About Dr. Alexander Gerskowitz
Dr. Gerskowitz was born in Ukraine. He started his dental/medical education in Russia at Chuvash State University Medical School. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2002. Following graduation, he completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey and a two year Implantology: Surgical and Prosthetic Residency at New York University. Dr. Gerskowitz is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Away from the office, Dr. Gerskowitz enjoys martial arts, reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his wife Diana and two children Benjamin and David.

As a new client all I can say is that Dr. Gerskowitz is very nice, personable, professional and caring! I don’t know what else to say but good things about him and specially his staff. The staff in his office are very welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. They know the names of all their clients, which I think is very important. They’re all professional and they seem to all love their job. They all love to teach, which I think is also important so that clients know what exactly they’re doing. They’re very knowledgeable and any questions are all welcomed. I love how Dr. Gerskowitz not only takes care of our teeth and mouths’ health but also cares about our smile. They’ll ask you how would you want your smile to be, whether you want to have the California smile or just your own perfect smile, would be up to you. I first came to them just a week ago with my now husband, right before our wedding for cleaning and whitening only at first but boy they made our smiles brighter and prettier. I highly recommend them and would stay here.

The greatest experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. From the front office, Dr. Gerskowitz scheduling me on a Sunday morning for the very next day, and how kind and competent EVERYONE was I cannot say enough nice things. Dr. Gerskowitz is an amazing dentist. I have been to others, but no one compares, as I always return to him. I recently had a crown placed by someone else, and went to him for help. He helped me right away, and addresses all of my concerns at every visit. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a professional, courteous, consistent, and knowledgable dentist. I have told everyone I know (who may have been looking for general cleaning or dental work) to visit him! He can perform work same day which is convenient and awesome! He is great!!!!!! 6 stars!

It's been my 4th or 5th visit there and I like it so far. I mean, I obviously do not enjoy dental work performed in my mouth, but at least here I don't need to suffer. Mr. Alexander's actions are fast and firm, but not hasty. He explains what can/should be done and makes sure that anesthesia works before he proceeds. So, yeah, I still have some stuff to do, I will come back there and I would recommend this dentisrty to my friend. Also, their hygienist, I believe her name is Alex, is also very good, careful and gentle.

I visited Dr. Alex a couple of days ago to get my wisdom teeth extracted. I read good reviews about him and his practice is pretty close to my home.
I was running a few minutes late but when I got there I was greeted by a friendly staff who immediately got me signed in and I was taken to speak with Dr. Alex. He explained the process to me and let me know that have have to get x-rays to check the position of nerves etc. The x-rays were done in a few minutes and then ex explained to me that I wouldn't need to get all 4 teeth extracted as I originally thought since one set of them were perfectly fine and werent causing me any discomfort.
His team then explained the insurance/out of pocket cost for the procedure and I proceeded to have the teeth extracted. The procedure lasted about 40 minutes. And the doctor was very kind throughout and kept checking if I was in any discomfort every step of the way. Once the procedure was complete, he explained to me all the post care instructions in detail and both him and his staff told me to call them up right away if I experience much pain after the anesthesia wore off. I'm happy to say that I experienced minimal discomfort during my recovery.
Would definitely recommend his practice to anyone who is looking for an oral surgeon.

I had been in a state of pain and knew that I probably needed a root
canal. Sure enough, when I met with Dr. Alex, he was able to confirm the situation and provide relief in a very short time.
He took care of the infection by performing the root canal, and I was pleased that it was a reasonably comfortable experience. He is extremely thorough and made sure that all of the infected root was removed. Within a short amount of time after, I felt a tremendous sense of both physical and emotional relief.

I am a Dental hygienist and extremy picky with dental care and i must say this is an excellent practice! Dr. Gerskowitz was very friendly and professional. He was very attentive during my procedure, making sure that i felt comfortable from beginning to end. His staff and dental hygienist Alejandra are also courteous, friendly and thorough when explaining procedures and their cost. I have no complaints, this is an overall great practice.

I had an impacted wisdom tooth. I was very apprehensive going to get it pulled out, because I had a bad experience 20 years ago with a different doctor. Dr. Gerskowitz explained everything to me as he was going to do it. I have anxiety and he talked to me and pushed on a pressure point to help me calm down and then he kept going once I was fine. He is very gentle and caring, I would recommend him to anyone who is afraid of the dentist or isn't, he is very good.

The best experience I've ever had at a dental practice! Alex the dental hygienist was amazing she took her time and I felt my teeth recliner than they've ever been. Dr Gerskowitz Is amazing always reassuring me and asking me if I am OK very gentle.. By the time I got there I thought I was only in his seat for about 15 minutes and he extracted a tooth and also did a filling on a separate tooth and I felt as though the job was well done I felt comfortable and I think he is one of the best dentist I've ever had. He is definitely my forever dentist thank you so much for all your help .

How many people have dreamt to sit in a dentist’s chair without experiencing pain or even having the fear of pain and the fear of a wrong result?

A visit to the dentist can be just as enjoyable, as a calm and fun visit to a friend!
First of all, everybody is smiling from inside here, absolutely sincere!
During my experience in this heavenly place, I felt as though I was being hugged and comforted by each and every person there.
I had never thought of the possibility that so much work could be done over just one visit.
I had never imagined that a deep cleaning could be performed without any pain.
There is this new technology that allows for the whole procedure of getting a crown to be done in just one visit. In addition to this, the crown can be done with absolutely zero discomfort produced. The dentist is even able to save every healthy bit of the damaged tooth.
The new technology of doing root canals allows for a guaranty for you not to ever worry about this tooth ever again.
And most of all, can you imagine that your doctor stays with you throughout the entire duration of your visit!
Plus, your doctor and his assistants work in absolute sync and ensure a great result!
And this place is all-ages-friendly.
