About Dr. Alexander Kimon
Dr. Alexander Kimon has been a valued member of our team at Downtown Dental Studio since 2011. A general dentist, his training encompasses all dental disciplines, but he is especially interested in esthetic and implant dentistry. His dental training was completed at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated cum laude et thesis propria with his DMD degree. Throughout his education and currently, Dr. Kimon is actively involved in Continuing Education.

I had a good experience with Downtown Dental and Dr. Kimon! The office staff were very friendly and the overall atmosphere was as expected from a dental office. Dr. Kimon was a good listener and answered all my questions as well. He was willing to walk me through each step and explained everything very clearly. I will be returning for my next cleaning!

I love the Downtown Dental Studio! Dr. Kimon and the rest of the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Kimon explains everything thoroughly, while making time for the questions and concerns you have. My first visit, I did not have the correct insurance and Eloise (I believe her position is dental receptionist) helped me figure it out. I cannot recommend them enough.

Dr Kimon was probably the friendliest and most communicative dentists I've had in a while. I felt like he really was paying attention to my issues and giving me solutions that would be easiest on me. I went in worried I might need a root canal, but he was optimistic that I wouldn't and communicated with me his thought process. Very friendly front desk staff too!!

Very professional and be explained everything thoroughly. Sometimes there can be a bit of a surprise with payment as when he dentist tells me that he is doing certain procedures on my teeth and I don't know if it is part of the covered service or if I have to pay extra. When I have my mouth open, it is hard to ask a question, to clarify the costs related questions. Turns out it was not covered and had to pay out of pocket which was a surprise. Other than that, the job was done very nicely.

Very nice and friendly, made sure all my questions were answered before I left the office. Dentist set me up with all the possible payment plans so I had no surprises about the cost of treatment needed.

I had gone treatment for tooth extraction, bone graft and crown lengthening. All was going good till the time crown lengthening-was done. These people gave 2 and half months gap in my next appointment and my gums grew again and I had to go for crown lengthening again. Coordinator told me that we were checking how much dental insurance left for the year but 2 and half months really? Even if takes so long then these people should understand that gums will grow and they could have given me some temporary crown or some other solution or they could have gone for crown lengthening after getting insurance clarity.
I am sure they must be doing it for earning more money.

Great experience with Dr. Kimon and his team. Dr. Kimon and his admin staff were caring yet professional, and they answered all the questions I had. I also appreciated how transparent they were with how much each treatments cost. The admin staff were very knowledgeable about dental insurance, and they made sure there is no surprise fees for each treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Kimon. I am definitely coming back.

Dr. Kimon is so great! I personally hate going to the dentist but he made it honestly better than usual. He explains everything that's going on so you aren't left wondering - he took the time to show me what he was looking for in the X-ray images and explained his decisions for addressing certain issues. The office staff is also so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Dr Kimon was very reassuring and lovely to deal with. He knows what he is doing and is professional and the procedure was relatively painless. He kept checking I was comfortable and it was over very quickly to my relief! The only thing I wish they had are dark glasses as the light is really bright.

Dr. Kimon was incredibly professional and personable. I was impressed with the care he took to clearly explain the details of my dental health as well as advise on preventative care for potential future concerns with existing issues. He was also considerate of my tender gums and sensitive teeth during the cleaning. I would highly recommend, the office and staff were also very nice.
