About Dr. Alexander Komar
Dr. Alexander Komar was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon. He pursued specialized training and certification in Prosthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. In addition to private practice, Dr. Komar is currently a clinical professor at NYU and active member of the American College of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Komar is one of the best prosthodontists I've ever had the privilege of learning from. As a clinical faculty member at NYU Dentistry, and one of my favorites, he's taught me so much, always with patience, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm. He has a way of making students want to learn and push themselves to be better, while simultaneously making us feel comfortable asking questions and thinking through cases on our own. He challenges us in the best way and gives us the confidence to trust our clinical judgment. His passion for teaching and dedication to his students is truly inspiring. I only hope that one day I can be even half the clinician and mentor that he is.
