About Dr. Alexander Ryan Powell

Dr. Alexander Powell is a California native, born and raised in Chino Hills. A first-generation college graduate. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Powell completed a comprehensive four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UCSF Fresno in 2023. His training encompassed a wide range of surgical procedures, including dental implantology, ambulatory sedation, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, and the management of both benign and malignant pathology of the head and neck. His residency was based at the only Level 1 trauma center in California’s Central Valley, providing him with extensive surgical and hospital-based experience. In 2024, Dr. Powell became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, reflecting his commitment to surgical excellence and continuing education. He is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on comfort, communication, and optimal outcomes. Outside of the office, Dr. Powell enjoys golf, running, weightlifting, playing guitar, and spending quality time with his wife and three daughters.
