“Friendly staff and a great doctor. However, they performed a more detailed cleaning (scaling) without informing me beforehand, which makes me hesitant to return. I find it hard to trust any business when communication isn’t clear. I don’t mind paying extra for the additional work, but what if I couldn’t afford it or didn’t want the deeper cleaning? I didn’t find out until I got to the front and received the bill.
Overall, friendly team and a convenient Clairemont location, but the lack of upfront communication was disappointing.”

“I very much enjoyed my visit with Dr. Aldabe at Claremont Mesa Dental Center. The office was clean. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I was seen by a dental hygienist right away and soon after, Dr. Aldabe. They both were very friendly and considerate. They were attentive and really listened to my needs and concerns. They were very professional and gentle with my procedures. I also appreciated that Dr. Aldabe checked in often to make sure that I was comfortable and not in pain. I especially liked that the doctor took the time out to set up an active care plan for me detailing the course of action to get me to my dream smile. As soon as I left the office, I recommended Dr. Aldabe to a friend of mine who is also looking for a dentist. 10/10 experience. ”

I hadn't been to the dentist in a very long time (12 years).
I had fears and anxiety about the visit only because I wasn't sure what to expect.
The staff was outstanding! They were helpful and welcoming from my pre-visit communication, to the cleaning, x rays, and the exam/consultation.
Dr Aldabe and his assistant Sadie were wonderful in their approach.
They quickly calmed my fears and approached my situation with patience and understanding.
The treatment plan that they drew up for me was clear, easy to understand, and reasonable.
They were also excellent in assisting me in navigating the pricing and insurance details.
Not to mention: my teeth look amazing compared to what I had going on before.
I would highly recommend Dr Aldabe and his Team!
A+ work.

Amazing! Dr. Aldabe was amazing and I wish I found him sooner before my move! Staff was amazing and the receptionist Heather was so great in helping me get my insurance information. I will be recommending his office to all my friends still in San Diego. Will be back should my family find themselves back here :)

Doc was very open in discussing options, along with setting options for a corrective plan.

Really friendly and competent staff. One of the least uncomfortable cleanings/set of xrays I’ve had. The doctor and staff were knowledgeable and communicated everything really clearly. The office is a little dated but who cares, they were really on top of everything where it counts!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in 9 years and was anxious about going, but Ali and the team made it as enjoyable as possible and provided helpful insight. They were friendly, professional, and skilled. Overall, very happy with my visit and already have my next appt scheduled for 6mos out. Highly recommend, only thing is the building seems antiquated, but aesthetics pale in comparison to the care offered.

Horrible. Filled out paperwork night before appointment arrived 10 minutes early. Provided insurance information again, 15 minutes later the front desk receptionist says be right with you. 40 minutes later I walk up and they say oh you don’t have insurance. I ask how come they didn’t verify prior to appointment, that way I could have addressed the situation and remedy it and kept my appointment. I walked out and verified my insurgence in less than 10 minutes. Won’t be returning here for any reason. In prepared staff who obviously do not know what they are doing.

Amazing! I’ve had pretty bad experiences with dentists in the past and this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had! As soon as I checked in I was escorted back for X-rays! No pain! Outstandingly nice staff! I look forward to my next visit!

The doctor, front desk, and technician are great and caring. Love the people there. However, the x ray experience sucks, i wish they have a panoramic teeth x ray machine. This is a dealbreaker for me so I won't go back even though the doctor is very nice.
