About Dr. Ali Mogharei
Dr. Mogharei has created a unique dental practice and has dedicated his time to enhance his office with the state of the art technology to assure every patient’s needs. Dr. Mogharei’s focus has been to practice gentle and caring dentistry. Therefore, Dr. Mogharei sees one patient at a time and devotes his full attention to you while you are at our office. At your first visit, Dr. Mogharei will meet with you privately to discuss any desires or concerns. He is very anxious to learn your needs and preferences, fears, past experiences, and to get to know you. As he moves on to your oral examination, you will find him thorough yet very gentle. Dr. Mogharei is great with fearful patients. A detailed evaluation of your teeth, soft tissue, alignment, bite, jaw joint and an oral cancer screening will be completed at your first visit. All the information obtained will be used to accurately assess your dental health.
He attended USC School of Dentistry and graduated on the Dean’s Honor List. He is also an accomplished researcher with multiple publications in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Mogharei continuously keeps abreast of the latest advances and developments in the field of dentistry, participating in numerous postgraduate education and special training courses.
Dr. Mogharei is great with fearful patients. He helps patients overcome their dental anxiety. In addition to cultivating a gentle manner with patients, he also offers oral sedation, nitrous oxide and intravenous conscious sedation to help patients with any dental fear.
Family and Interest
Dr. Mogharei is married and lives in Brentwood, California. His hobbies are sports and music. He was in the water polo team during his high school years and still enjoys swimming as well as playing basketball. He is a loyal fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and USC and CAL football teams. Dr. Mogharei plays percussion, violin and piano. He enjoys traveling with his lovely wife Maggie.

The dental staff were great, but the front office staff are another story. After my cleaning I asked for an estimate for fillings with my my insurance. The front desk staff gave me an estimate and insisted I sign it. All I wanted was an estimate, not to sign up yet. I asked what the contract is for. The front desk staff claimed that it was an agreement that I was liable if I didn't get the fillings. That surprised me, so I read the contract and it said nothing about that. It was an agreement to the prices and services. So I asked them again if I really need to sign this contract and agree to these services today. They started raising their voices at me and telling me cameras are watching me. This was so uncomfortable. I asked again why I need to sign this contract, it said nothing about liability and it was an agreement to pay them for the fillings. Finally they told me no I don't need to sign anything and that I was free to leave.

Best Dentist appointment I've ever had! Went in for a cleaning and essentially had a full consultation covered by my insurance. Dr. Mogharei was fantastic. He was patient and clearly answered my questions. The staff were all kind and phenomenal as well! Love that they have Saturday appointments. I'll be going back 100%

Great experience! Got to go to a room right after I arrived, the office was pretty, modern and clean, and they dealt with my dental emergency on the spot. Very friendly office staff, wonderful facilities, and the dentist and his assistant were competent, great communicators who explained everything to me in detail, and did a wonderful job with my crown repair. I am very happy with my experience and will definitely go back.
One thing to note is that due to COVID some of the typical perks like headsets and video glasses weren’t available so you should bring your own headphones if you need a distraction from the dental work. The other thing was that my appointment was moved to a different day/time after booking on zocdoc, but they did get back to me relatively quickly to let me know that my slot wasn’t available.

Dr. Mogharei is amazing. A great guy who communicates well and definitely is a master of his craft. I even saw his family for a few, and you can tell he's a good guy. He has state of the art technology and everyone in the office is top notch. I loved my hygenist, Megan, who went above and beyond to work with me on removing some stains that are annoying and talked about a year long plan to keep them away. I'll be going back regularly and I definitely recommend Dr. Mogharei and the Tooth Doctor!

Dr. Ali Mogharei made me feel very comfortable. I had a few fillings redone and he explained everything while he was doing it. Which for me was perfect because I could expect what was coming next.
I highly recommend him and enjoy visiting him for all my dental work/needs.

I went into Dr. Mogharei three weeks after making an appointment. When I arrived, they shared that they'd actually rescheduled my checkup but when I explained that my occasional tooth pain had morphed into jaw pain up to my ear and I feared something was really wrong, the doctor shifted his schedule and got me in immediately. I was anxious, with my stomach in knots, and the doctor couldn't have been more gentle. With headphones playing my favorite music, I think I may have even nodded off... during a ROOT CANAL!
I can't recommend Dr. Mogharei enough.

I absolutely love this office. Such a great spa-like atmosphere (paraffin hand treatment, massage chairs, movie glasses, etc...) This office is staffed with people who truly care about their patients. Dr. Mogharei is gentle, thorough and uses cutting edge technology
