About Dr. Ali Soltanirad
Became a dentist in 2001 back in Iran, his native country. After a few years of working as a general practitioner, he decided to sharpen his skills more toward cosmetic dentistry. He spent three full years as a cosmetic and restorative dental resident at Tehran Dental School, treating all types of dental and facial cosmetic cases. After receiving his specialty in cosmetic/restorative dentistry, he practiced as a cosmetic dentist for seven years before moving to the US to start a new journey. He was accepted to the University of Southern California (USC) Dental School right away due to his competitive resume and great hand skills. He was on the dean’s list in almost all trimesters and graduated with honors in 2020 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. The combination of his past experience and what he learned at USC made him a thorough, knowledgeable, and highly skilled dentist.
He treats his patients the way he would like to be treated. He is calm and a really good listener. Patients appreciate his ability to listen and understand their issues. He likes to give a thorough explanation of his treatment plan and help them solve their problems.
By incorporating new technology, he is able to help people with more innovative techniques. Combining his years of experience in cosmetic and restorative dentistry with teeth movement concepts via Invisalign, he believes he can deliver more conservative, stable, and healthier treatments to patients.
With the vision he has gained throughout the years of treating patients with unhealthy bites and unhappy smiles, he is also an advocate of prevention. His goal is to start treating patients at an early age to prevent future problems so they may need minimal or no bite or cosmetic treatments later.
Dr. Rad tries to be a good friend to his team and his patients. He believes in personal development at any age or career path. That’s why they have added a book club at Dos Caminos Dental.

New to the area, found Dos Caminos Dental office in my provider directory of my insurance booklet. I was nervous to go as most people are but for me I know I have a few dental concerns that need to be addressed. Upon arriving I was greeted with smiles and kindness. Then going into the room I was totally pleased with the patience that Dr. Rad provided he answered all my questions and explained my needed treatment. The treatment/financial coordinator came in and went over everything. Although, what I need is NOT covered with my insurance we were able to get me approved for financing and I will be starting my procedure on Thursday!!! Very thankful that I found a clean, friendly, and caring dentist. Plus, he does Botox!!!! So excited to try it and
Reduce my migraines and “tmj” clenching/grinding issue.
