Dr. Alina is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. She completed her Residency at Jamaica Hospital where she provided a full range of dentistry to children, adults and the elderly. She is currently a clinical instructor at the Mount Sinai Hospital Dental Residency Program. Dr. Alina is proficient in all aspects of dentistry, especially cosmetic. She takes continuing education courses to further her level of expertise in Invisalign, porcelain veneers, and full mouth dental rehabilitation. I had a filling done by Dr. Lukashevsky. There was literally no pain and the whole procedure took little time.

The wait time was unacceptable for a 9AM appointment as was the staff's attitude.
I arrived early for my first appointment and was directed to sit in the waiting room. This was the first appointment of the morning, at 9AM. Other patients who arrived after me were given forms and seen. Twenty minutes later, ten minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin, I was given new patient forms. There were multiple staff members I saw arriving during this time but I was not acknowledged. This was not a day with extraordinary commute delays, it appears that it is not the practice in this office to arrive before appointments are scheduled to begin. Thirty minutes after my appointment was scheduled to begin, I was asked for my insurance card and ID, and told that they would have to call the insurance company to make sure I was covered. At this point there had been several employees idle for fifteen minutes or more. When I asked how much longer it would be, I was told the person who would see me was "still on the train."

Always a great experience- dental hygienist is thorough and quick. Dr. Lukashevsky is kind, has great "bedside manner" and gets you on your way.

I left this practice last year because I changed employers so lost my dental insurance for a while. So glad to have it back and return to Dr. Alina! I was late for the appointment but they still saw me, the technician was great and dealt with my fear of cleanings very well. Dr. Alina is quick but thorough....that's a plus for me tho, as I'm anxious to get out of that chair. My only complaint is that they don't do appointment confirmations so I book through ZocDoc and they remind me.

I had a 12:30 appt, when i arrived i was told they were running 20-30 minutes behind schedule. After 40 min i asked for an update (i was on my lunch break so needed to reschedule meetings if i was going to be more than an hour). The receptionist told me 10 more minutes. After another 25 minutes i was called in (now 1 hour and 5 min after my appointment time). On the computer screen showing in the room they had the schedule for the day. My name was listed at 1pm. I am not sure where the issue arose here but my guess is they bumped my appointment without informing me (the person's name from 12-1pm was listed as needing something more serious than a "cleaning") and therefore my wait was longer than normal. Regardless, the past few times i have visited this office i have been less and less impressed.

Assistant who cleaned my teeth was rough and unskilled. Also, she didn't know how to use the suction device properly so I felt like I was being waterboarded in my own blood and spit. X-rays were rough and unpleasant as well. Dr. Lukashevsky seemed fine and personable, but only saw her briefly after awful cleaning.

I am very pleased with my first visit to my new dentist Dr. Alina Lukashevsky. I was seen within 15 minutes of arrival, had a cleaning and X-Rays with her very nice assistant and then had an initial consultation with Alina about what I needed done. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 3 years and had a couple broken crowns, a cracked tooth and an abscess... I was very impressed with her professionalism, kindness and the options she presented me.

Great dentist, but I only had basic procedures.
I would book over the phone though. They changed my zocdoc appointment without consulting me, or providing me with a reason. Then after I checked in they did not check my history, and I was informed that there may not be time for my procedure. Fortunately, everything went well, just had to wait more than an hour.

Her technician (Lady who did the cleaning) was not. Turned out extremely painful and left with gums bleeding for next couple of hours
