Dr. Alyson Seah was born and raised in the heart of San Francisco. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry.
Having grown up in the diverse city of San Francisco, traveled the world, and committed hundreds of hours to serving underserved populations, Dr. Seah has engaged with people of various ethnicities, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She respects people's differences, seeks to understand their situations, and ensures her patients feel heard and understood. She is passionate about patient education as a means of empowering individuals to take charge of their wellbeing and live healthy lives. Dr. Seah values building trusting relationships with her patients and providing a comfortable, welcoming experience.
Outside of the office, Dr. Seah enjoys photography, hiking, drawing, and exploring the various neighborhoods and new restaurants across the city.

During my appointments for dental fillings, she went above and beyond to ensure not only that the procedures were technically sound but also that the results were visually seamless. Despite time constraints due to my work schedule, she performed both procedures efficiently and with great care. I deeply appreciate her attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care.

I booked an emergency appointment since part of my tooth fell out. Spent 2+ hours doing all kinds of x-rays, scans, assessments, cleaning, and only about 15 minutes with the doctor. She was nice and empathetic and suggested a crown, but did not address the immediate issue at all (no temporary covering or even any instruction about how to avoid more damage before I come in for my next appointment). Every single person at the office, from the nurse, staff, doctor, to the dental hygienist tried to upsell me on orthodontics and told me I have grinding & bite issues, when I’ve never personally experienced these issues and none of my previous dentists have ever brought this up. They also tried to upsell me on prescription toothpaste, fluoride coat during cleaning, antibiotics, etc. I felt like I wasted 2 hours of my life and a lot of out of pocket money and only received HUGE quotes for crowns and Invisalign but no actual treatment. I do not feel comfortable continue working with them.

I had such an amazing experience here! As someone with dental anxiety, I would recommend this office to anyone. The entire team was so accommodating and made sure I knew what was happening.

I really enjoyed the DMD but the office was chaotic. The front desk was slow to get my paperwork processed and get me in (also the front desk people were bickering). I had provided my insurance days prior to appt but they didn’t verify until I arrived. I arrived 10 mins early and then waited 30 mins to get in. Once I got in, multiple people kept popping in to look at my teeth - felt very chaotic. Some of their equipment didn’t work so they kept switching the plan for cleaning my teeth. Overall felt like an overwhelming experience

This is not the dentist to choose. They will try to upsell you to the point of having Invisalign retainers; I have gone 23 years without hearing anything like this, and this was the first office that had ever suggested any corrections of the nature. Their pricing is HIGH compared to other providers for what I assume to be any procedure. I needed a dental crown and it was supposed to close a gap between two teeth as well, the crown is poor quality (they use a 3d printer machine, which was broken down the day that I was supposed to receive the crown) AND the gap between my teeth is still there... all for a low cost of $xxxx. That's WITH insurance. Come on.

She is wonderful!! Truthfully the best dentist I have ever had. I was nervous about how young she is, but in her case I think her youth is a pro. She is very capable, and she loops in the senior dentist for second thoughts when necessary.

Dr. Seah did my exam after having avoided the dentist for about two years. Dr. Seah was welcoming and took her time to explain my treatment plan. She filled up some resuture spots on two of my teeth, so I dont need to deal with uncomfortable pain and sensitivity. She is the best!

Dr. SEAR IS ONE OF THE BEST DENTISTS IN SAN FRANCISCO. SHE IS GENTLE AND KIND. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMEND GOING TO THIS OFFICE IF YOU HAVE ANY DENTAL FEAR. SHE HELPED ME FEEL CONFORTABLE DURING SOME DENTAL WORK.

Dr. Seah put me at ease. Haven't been to a dental office in 3 years. She was very understanding, told me exactly what I needed. The visit was painless. She actually called in the next day to see how I was feeling. I would highly recommend Dr. Seah to family friends and co-workers.
