About Dr. Amanda Mccauley
Dr. Amanda McCauley was raised in Richmond, Virginia and attended the University of Virginia where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. She moved back to Richmond to earn her dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated in 2013. Dr. McCauley left Virginia after dental school to pursue advanced education in general dentistry in a one-year residency program at the Medical University of South Carolina. She moved to Seattle in July 2014 and is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. McCauley has a passion for dentistry, especially the artistic aspects, and believes that keeping up with the latest innovations in dentistry is very important for high quality patient care. She continues to exceed the amount of education hours required by the state of Washington each year to remain cutting-edge. She has been trained to provide comprehensive patient care and strives to make her patients actively involved in their own oral care. Listening carefully to the concerns of her patients, Dr. McCauley provides the extra TLC that she would want for her own family. Her favorite dental moments are when patients can smile more confidently after their appointments and tell her, “You are so gentle!”
Dr. McCauley and her husband Matt enjoy exploring everything the Puget Sound area has to offer from hiking to kayaking. They recently welcomed a baby boy to their family who has kept them busy! When she does find a spare minute, Dr. McCauley also enjoys reading and baking.

Dr. McCauley was awesome! She is super nice and very good at her job. She did an exhaustive check up and a cleaning with no pain and minimum discomfort on my part.

It had been a few years since I'd been to a dentist for a cleaning and I am so glad that I chose McCauley Family Dentistry! Everyone in the office was friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. I have an follow-up appointment scheduled for a few weeks from now and will definitely be coming back for regular cleanings.

My appointment was great. Dr. McCauley is out on maternity leave but, she made sure to be present at my appointment to meet me. I saw Dr. Olsen Smith who was great and she really understood the needs and concerns I had. Everyone was wonderful. Her office felt like home. Very nice and plesant and Janis is such a gem. Dr. McCauley was able to complete my crown in only one visit. I came in with a broken tooth and she was able to fix it without any pain. Dr. McCauley communicated what was happening during my appointment and it was great to sit back and watch TV during my appointment.

The office is beautiful and immaculate. Dr. McCauley was thorough and examined my lymph nodes and throat for potential issues. My teeth have never felt cleaner. This was an excellent experience, I highly recommend this practice.
